We have been able to open a Maserati with a dead key fob battery first with a 2015 Maserati Ghibli. Then in 2017, we had a Levante and were able to verify that the first process will work across the product line through about 2023. The company then revamped the entire product line…
Unlike other manufacturers, the mechanical key, which is in this Maserati key fob, is not connected to the key ring. Looking at the back of the key fob, note the separation on one side only (bottom arrow) which marks the location of the key.
Also
Push the button and pull the key out of the fob at the separation, as shown to the right.
The key hole is visible at the back of the driver’s door handle,, so simply insert the key and turn and you’ll be inside.

Beginning in 2023, new models began to appear along with a new key fob and new ways to get inside. By 2024 are new and reflected above.
Slide the release away from the center and pull the key ring to retrieve the mechanical key.
Using the mechanical key in the older models was simple, but not so for the newer ones.
Note the marks on near the slot and on the handle. Use the mechanical key to rotate what is a cap covering the actual key hole. Rotate the cap to line up the marks and remove the cap. The keyhole can then be accessed to unlock the car.
Assuming the spot can be found, unscrew and remove the cap protecting the lock cylinder. It may need some prying to get it to come away. Once this is done, use the mechanical key to unlock the vehicle.
Mote that the location is very vulnerable to dirt and water, etc., so please return the cover to its original position when you are done…
