This is an Audio System Fault Indicator symbol. It indicates that the vehicle’s sound system has failed and needs the help of a qualified service shop. The fact that there is likely no sound coming from the speakers is likely more that enough to alert the driver to a problem, but the indicator puts any question to rest.
