Derate Mode

Cold ambient derate mode indicatorThis is a Cold Ambient Derate Mode Indicator symbol. Derate is a term used to indicate that the engine’s power has been reduced or derated. Derating the engine protects the turbocharger in cold temperatures and the indicator is shown when the system is active. The indicator appears as a fan in a duct with wavy lines and arrows below it in yellow/amber.
