Mini symbols

Prompted by the lack of symbols for electric vehicles (EVs) on the Mini symbols page, we did a double check of the Countryman EV. And while we did add two symbols related to the EV, we ended up adding a full 10 symbols to the page.

The Mini symbols page now has nearly 105 entries.

Most of the additions were in our database, but we did create four new images. Two are text images for the Assist Plus driver assist system and the other two are the green and gray symbols seen to the right.

They are Hill Descent Control symbols. In green the system is active. In gray, it is either on standby or is temporarily disabled. What is notable is the number shown on the left side. It represents a speed set by the driver, which can be between 2 mph and 20 mph. We have not seen this from any other manufacturer in their symbols.

The Mini symbols page can be seen here.

Technology is always changing and what is current and accurate today may be literally out-of-date and inaccurate tomorrow. And when it comes to the current state of flux in the auto industry, nothing is more true.
