s-Pedal
![]()
These are s-Pedal Indicator symbols. s-Pedal, or Smart Pedal, is from Mercedes-Benz Smart vehicles and are essentially a one-pedal driving system for electric vehicles (EVs).
- Before continuing, is one of these truly your symbol?? If yes, read on below.
- Otherwise, you can return to our main Manufacturer Symbols pages and scan again!
When seen in gray, the s-Pedal mode is turned on but not activated. Seen in blue, the s-Pedal mode is activated.
With s-Pedal, as with any one-pedal driving system, it is possible to only use the accelerator pedal to accelerate and brake. Press the accelerator pedal for acceleration and release it keeping your foot on it for slow deceleration. Removing the foot completely for a complete stop.
With the system enabled, the brake lamps will come on when the accelerator pedal is released for deceleration. Also, when enabled, Auto Hold will be automatically activated when the accelerator pedal is released and the vehicle comes to a stop.
