We’ve finished a review of Alfa Romeo symbols, an update that added 14 entries and pushed the total to 118 warning lights and indicators!

Alfa did not add any new systems but of the 14 new entries, six are brand new indicators. For example, the company’s Drowsy Driver indicators, two of them, include an eyebrow over the eye, which we felt compelled to replicate (left). Also, Alfa Romeo is the only company using a red symbol. They are serious about keeping their drivers awake!

We also had to make what the company called an Automatic Low Beam indicator (right). This was particularly confusing given that their models already use an Automatic Headlight Dimming system.

Digging deeper, we realized that what it is in reality is an Automatic Headlamp On system, that turns the lights on when the ambient light warrants it, and it defers to the low beam to start.
