A thorough review of Buick symbols in 2026 models; Enclave, Encore, Envision and Envista, finds that the company has not added any new systems for the model year.

No new models have been added either. Both of these developments lead us to believe that there are major changes on the way for the brand.

However, there are a large number of presentation changes we will need to make. For instance, the pedestrian warning in now seen in yellow/amber/orange, rather than red. This makes the first entry on the Buick page where a red light exists alongside and yellow/amber/orange counterpart.

This is old hat to any number of manufacturers, and we use the color triple description because the color can be interpreted in at least this many ways.

Also, lane keeping will expand to three colors, while vehicle ahead adds a green to go along with yellow/amber/orange currently on the page.

And, as is too common, we have at least two additional drive modes to add. We have not yet determined the color for these symbols but believe they will be shown in black and white.
