Our Buick symbols update for 2026 is complete. In the process, we added 15 new symbols and indicators to the page while having to create nine of the 15, mostly, but not exclusively, due to color changes,

This might suggest that the company added new systems to their line up, which is only partially true. There were no new systems added to our repertoire, but surprisingly the company now employs auto brake hold for the first time, in two colors.

We had to add two new colors (right) for lane departure systems. There are now five versions in use through the years.

Likewise there are now three versions of Sport mode indicators used by the line-up and a second tow mode indicator (left).

All in all, there are now nearly 70 indicators on the page, a far cry from what is quickly becoming an industry average of 100 or more!
