Genesis symbols page update nets 17 added entries

A full 2026 review of Genesis symbols in current models added 17 new entries to the page. The page now holds over 90 indicators and symbols.

Six of the new entries had to be made. The rest were already in our database. The toughest addition was a red Driver Attention Symbol that featured what is probably intended to be a blood shot eye!

Speed set indicatorSpeed limit assist warningOther new entries revolved around reading speed limit signs and actually controlling maximum speeds. The first is passive, simply warning a driver that a set speed has been exceeded. In this case, it is a yellow/amber/orange warning symbol indicating that it has not detected a speed limit. The second is a Speed Limit Assist function that holds a vehicle to the actual road speed limit (far right) unless the driver intervenes.

i-PEDAL indicatorOne required a brand new post. It is a take-off on one-pedal driving systems that Genesis calls i-PEDAL. Its function is just unique enough to warrant a separate entry. Of course, it has its own symbol.

Elsewhere, three new entries were the result of electric vehicles (EVs), including the use of a new Ready symbol, for no particular reason. It uses just the word Ready.

The page with its 91 Genesis symbol entries can be seen here.
