A review of Fiat symbols for 2026 sees five warning symbols and indicators added to the Fiat symbols page. It now holds nearly 100 total entries.
Generally when we review a manufacturer, a number of symbols need to made and added to our database. With Fiat, all of the additions pre-existed, that is, in use by other manufacturers.
Of course, the company offers only the 500e in the U.S. It does, however, intend to release a new two-seat EV, the Topolino, early in 2026.
As to the added symbols, four of them are a color addition. That is the Charge System fault, Electric Park Brake fault and Power Limitation are red in the latest model. And the Key Warning is now found in yellow/amber/orange!
This resulted in the addition of four rows that hold both red and yellow/amber/orange versions of the same indicator which indicate or point to the same problem.
This is actually a common issue with auto manufacturers and leaves us generally scratching our heads. It is true that some indicators change from yellow/amber/orange to red as a problem worsens, in the four cases here, the company has simply chosen to change the color of the indicator.
We’ve added all four of the indicators as examples.
