Karma symbols.

We have now created a page exclusively for Karma symbols, warning and fault lights and indicators. It is our 52nd manufacturer symbols page.

We set out to cover the entire line, but for the moment, we have information only on the Revero model, which is strongly based on the Fisker Karma. To that end, we copied the Fisker page and made a number of adjustments.

In fact, the page is unique as much for what is new as for what we removed. There are no longer any towing symbols or even any driver assistance symbols. Driver assistance features exist, but are relegated to announcing themselves separately in such features as Lane Keeping and Collision Avoidance.

We also found the need to create new Fuel Level indicators for the first time in years. The Revero is a hybrid model backed up by a gasoline engine.

Karma uses a red warning light for very low fuel levels alongside the standard yellow/amber/orange indicator. The company then adds a gray scale image to indicate that there is enough fuel!

Karma also uses green, yellow/amber/orange and red indicators to point out the charge level of the high voltage battery. And it already uses a separate warning light as a low charge indicator.

The Karma symbols page and its nearly 70 entries can be seen here.

The material on these pages is provided for information sharing purposes only and should not be used in lieu of an OEM service manual or factory authorized service procedure. We are not in the auto repair business, nor do we publish automotive service manuals. Nothing we include on these pages and posts has been reviewed, approved or authorized by any vehicle manufacturer.

Remember — only proper service and repair procedures will ensure the safe and reliable operation of your car. In addition, proper safety procedures and precautions, such as the use of safety goggles, the right tools and the equipment should be followed at all times to eliminate the possibility of personal injury or improper service which could damage the vehicle or compromise its safety.

Technology is always changing and what is current and accurate today may be literally out-of-date and inaccurate tomorrow. And when it comes to the current state of flux in the auto industry, nothing is more true.
