Off road auxiliary lighting
This is an Off Road Auxiliary Lighting Active Indicator symbol. It appears in some Ford models when the lighting is activated and is seen as an oval with lines radiating out as a light with curved lines and a tree as the outdoors.
- Before continuing, is one of these truly your symbol?? If yes, read on below.
- Otherwise, you can return to our main Manufacturer Symbols pages and scan again!
The lighting is grille-mounted and add supplementary lighting when off-road. They are intended for use only when off-road.
The lights are activated by first ensuring the exterior lighting control is in the headlamps or autolamps position. Press Off-Road in the controls menu then press lighting. Press the off-road lamps button on the touchscreen. The high beams are activated next.
Note that the off-road lamps will not function with auto high beams activated. Note also that they may have covers that will need to removed before use.
