A full review of Kia symbols and indicators in 15 models and model variations for 2026 is complete. The result is the addition of only seven indicators to the Kia page.
In addition, only two indicators are new to our database.
Those two belong to High-Voltage Battery Conditioning and got a new post to boot. The images supplied by Kia were quite poorly presented in the manuals. We were able to sharpen them only slightly.
The first includes the illustration of a fan, representing cooling and the second adds rising curved arrows representing heat (above right).
The i-PEDAL indicator (right) found initially in Genesis electric vehicles (EVs) is now found in Kia EVs. We will quite likely see it in the next Hyundai update.
i-PEDAL is another iteration of one pedal driving in EVs. It assists the driver to accelerate, decelerate, and stop the vehicle with only the accelerator pedal. To turn on i-PEDAL, pull the left paddle shifter once when the regenerative braking level is at 3. The i-PEDAL symbol is then seen in the instrument cluster.
Driver Monitoring is also added to Kia. The yellow/amber/orange color was implied but specified, so we placed both the red and versions on the Kia page. Genesis uses the red indicator.
