Thanks for the feedback…
I’ve owned a 2007 A4 for 11 years, the trunk has never opened from the switch in the door nor the decklid switch, I’ve always assumed it was a fuse but since it opened with the key it never really bothered me, I feel like a complete moron lmao. Thank you sooooo much for helping me clear up this minor inconvenience I’ve had for sooooo long!!!

Listing is great, however I get a Blue P on the Upper Instrument Panel when in D in my 2017 QX30. It is on for a couple of minutes and then goes out. What does it mean?
Response from DashboardSymbols.com
Well, not precisely sure, as it is not a warning light and blue does not suggest a problem. The letter P is usually associated with Park, but in this case, I think a steering wheel menu button may have been pressed accidently. Try running through the menu(s).
Saved my day.

There still is a blue dash light that is not explained here. It just showed up yesterday.
Response from DashboardSymbols.com
There are only two blue lights possible: high beams (common) and a cold engine. Both are on the page. Can you supply more details??
I didn’t know about the cupholder.

Nothing to do with traction. It came on during normal driving & stays on. I’m getting very close to brake pads end of life. Could this be related
Response from DashboardSymbols.com
The triangle symbols are attention getters. It must be accompanied by a message in the instrument panel that will spell out the problem. And yes, it could be brake pads, but that also will be spelled out…
It’s working now. You just made my son happy.

I did not see it covered in this article

Very sorry for the late reply. There is no navigation indicator available. A more detailed explanation of what you’re seeing would be helpful.

Hi…. Just wanted to thank you for putting your website on the Internet. Others with same topic of course but yours works for me! I’m not a car girl so this is very helpful to me. I rarely see a dash lite come on but when I do there is a moment where I freak, thinking OMG the car may go dead while I’m driving. ESPECIALLY IF ITS DARK out. I know that sounds over the top but you never know. Regardless of having AAA. I take care of my car. (2004 Lexus SUV w/ 112k miles. Like to understand the basics if nothing else so I’ll know if whomever tries to b.s. me. Excuse my French. …
I also like that there isn’t a ton of reading before getting to the list. I’m sure it’s informative but I think most of us want to get to the list asap as the dash is lit up. I also like that there is additional info available by clicking on the box. I don’t have to scroll back to find
this information amongst pages of reading.
Whoever wrote this writes with simple straight forward info especially for we women. As I’m reading and thinking of other questions, it’s like the author knows what my next question is going to be. It’s great! Letting me know it’s important but whether I can drive the car or not, or I need to hustle to mechanic. It’s perfect! He’s got the what, how and why covered..
Such mental relief for me…….
This post was very useful for me!
I needed to program a new card key on a Model X and was using the Model Y location. I didn’t know!
