This suddenly stayed on, and obviously was quite alarming. particularly when I realised it was a likely brake issue, having referred to the car guide. The dealership I bought from, were not very helpful, couldn’t say what the problem was and offered no advice, saying they wouldn’t be able to look at it for 3 weeks, backlogged with work and no courtesy cars available.
A quick internet search for advice brought me here…I have followed advice given and the light has gone off. I feel relieved that I am not in imminent danger, have perhaps had a warning, and will take the appointment offered.

Glad it helped. If the tires simply needed air, the light will resolve after driving a mile or so.

It was my first thought that it was tge catalytic converter m, But could not find the symbol that the dash cam was showing, the symbol looks a bit vague so my three guesses were (catalytic converter, hot battery, or hot cable somewhere) So glad that you posted it, I happen to have new catalytics and I can just go straight to the mechanic knowing what it is with my new parts and just worry about labor fees. I’ve owned a 2007 A4 for 11 years, the trunk has never opened from the switch in the door nor the decklid switch, I’ve always assumed it was a fuse but since it opened with the key it never really bothered me, I feel like a complete moron lmao. Listing is great, however I get a Blue P on the Upper Instrument Panel when in D in my 2017 QX30. It is on for a couple of minutes and then goes out. What does it mean?

Well, not precisely sure, as it is not a warning light and blue does not suggest a problem. The letter P is usually associated with Park, but in this case, I think a steering wheel menu button may have been pressed accidently. Try running through the menu(s).

There are only two blue lights possible: high beams (common) and a cold engine. Both are on the page. Can you supply more details??

The triangle symbols are attention getters. It must be accompanied by a message in the instrument panel that will spell out the problem. And yes, it could be brake pads, but that also will be spelled out…
