Heated Steering Wheel On Dashboard Indicator

Heated Wheel

Heated Steering wheel indicatorSteering wheel heatThese are Heated Steering Wheel On Indicator symbols. The indicator looks like a broken steering wheel with wavy lines radiating up from one side meant to show heat. It is seen only when the heat function is turned on by the driver and appears in yellow/amber, unless it is seen in the center display, where it is generally in gray scale.

  • Before moving on, is this truly your symbol??
  • If not, you can return to our main Picture Symbols page and scan again!

In models from many manufacturers, heated steering wheel will only remain on for about 30 minutes, after which it is automatically turned off. Other manufacturers allow the heat to remain on as long as the driver wishes it to be on.

Intelligent Manual Transmission (iMT) Dashboard Indicator

Intelligent Transmission

iMT indicatoriMT indicator greenThese are intelligent Manual Transmission (iMT) Indicator symbols found only in cars with a manual transmission. iMT controls the engine speed to suit the driver’s operation of the clutch pedal and shift lever. This helps the driver shift gears more smoothly. Further, when the clutch pedal is operated, the iMT helps reduce shift shock, allowing for lighter shift operations when driving on a winding road or incline.

  • Before moving on, is these truly your symbols??
  • If not, you can return to our main Text Symbols page and scan again!

When activated the iMT indicator will illuminate in green. The iMT system can be turned off at any time. iMT will not function if the clutch is not fully depressed or fully released, such as a foot being rested on the clutch pedal, which is never a good idea.

If the iMT indicator is seen in yellow/amber iMT may be temporarily unavailable or malfunctioning. Have the vehicle serviced by a qualified service shop.
