Polestar symbols

Since we’ve been spending so much time on Polestar models of late, we opted to review the companies dashboard symbols for 2026. The result is the addition of only eight images to the Polestar symbols page.

The page now holds 85 indicators and symbols, which is actually small compared to others but large for what is mostly a supplier of electric vehicles. There is the hybrid Polestar 1 to account for.

Most of the additions the Polestar 4 model, which will only be available in the U.S. next month (October 2025)!

The model is the first in the line to use a master warning light (right), which is ubiquitous in the industry. To date, Polestar had only used the attention symbol (far right). The master warning light will certainly get more attention, oddly.

Either light draws attention to the center screen where a text message will be seen pointing out an issue with the vehicle.

We had to make several new images, as Polestar felt the need to tweak existing indicators. For instance, an external sound indicator is seen in red in the Polestar 4 (right), and not included at all in the other two models.

We also opted on our own to replace an existing rear collision warning, first because we need to make a red version for Polestar, but also because the company uses a much clearer version than our existing indicator (right).

Our Polestar dashboard symbols page is here.
