Cadillac symbols update complete, adding 20 new entries

Cadillac symbols

Our 2026 update of the Cadillac symbols page is complete and it is left just short of 100 entries, literally at 99.

Twenty of the indicators are new to the company, nine of which are new to us.

We also added a first red/yellow combination entry (left) with the electronic all wheel drive (eAWD) symbols that can go from yellow/amber/orange to red if a fault develops.

Of course, there are more drive modes, a very annoying industry trend. This includes two different Snow mode indicators that the manufacturer is using in tandem but in different models (right)!

Then there’s Vmax (right), which adds a maximum power option to the original V-MODE. V-Mode allows personalization of dynamic driving through the configuration of vehicle subsystems (steering, braking, suspension, etc.) for maximum handling. Vmax is intended only for limited use.

There are now two additional lane keeping indicators, adding a green and a yellow/amber/orange version to an existing black and white symbol.

Green indicates the system is on and ready. The yellow/amber/orange version displays and will flash as a departure alert warning when a lane marking has been unintentionally crossed.

In any case, you can see the Cadillac dashboard symbols page here.

Technology is always changing and what is current and accurate today may be literally out-of-date and inaccurate tomorrow. And when it comes to the current state of flux in the auto industry, nothing is more true.
