After updating the Volvo back-up start processes, it became obvious that Polestar, which shared the page, and Volvo needed their own separate back-up start pages.
We added two new back-up processes to Volvo. The new processes belong to the EX30 and EX90 electric vehicles.
These vehicles use rechargeable key tags rather than traditional key fobs. There are no buttons and no mechanical key.
The recharge spots (right) double as back-up start spots. A key card is also supplied with the vehicles, which can be placed on the spots to start the cars as well.
The additions made the page clumsy and crowded. It is far cleaner now as a Volvo only page.

Remember that only proper service and repair procedures will ensure the safe and reliable operation of your car. Technology is always changing and what is current and accurate today may be literally out-of-date and inaccurate tomorrow. And when it comes to the current state of flux in the auto industry, nothing is more true.
