A full 23 new entries added to Chevrolet symbols list

Chevrolet symbols

A full review of 2026 Chevrolet symbols adds 23 new indicators to the database for the company’s models. Nine of the entries are brand new and they now number nearly 130 in total!

Included in the additions is the discovery that Chevrolet uses three different sets of three lane departure warnings and indicators in current models!

Each set uses three colors; white while lane keeping is on standby, green when in operation and yellow/amber/orange when the vehicle is leaving the lane. It turns out that up level models use one set (far right above) and base level models have the other two possible sets — depending on the model!

We find it particularly infuriating because loyal Chevrolet customers must familiarize themselves with multiple symbols describing the same thing!

The company also now uses new sets of all-wheel and 4-wheel drive symbols, as well as a separate set for its electric models, also in multiple colors. Shown here are but three examples.

Finally, eight new drive modes are seen on the page, bring their total to 20 drive modes alone. Two of them are new to our database as well.

The entire list of 127 Chevrolet dashboard symbols can be seen here.

Remember — only proper service and repair procedures will ensure the safe and reliable operation of your car. In addition, proper safety procedures and precautions, such as the use of safety goggles, the right tools and the equipment should be followed at all times to eliminate the possibility of personal injury or improper service which could damage the vehicle or compromise its safety.

Technology is always changing and what is current and accurate today may be literally out-of-date and inaccurate tomorrow. And when it comes to the current state of flux in the auto industry, nothing is more true.
