Continuing our review of 2026 models finds a new Lincoln emergency start fey fob location for the Navigator. And it was first seen in 2025!
Emergency or back-up start options in keyless start vehicles are made necessary if the battery in the key fob is depleted or if there is radio interference causing a problem.
The Navigator has used three emergency start options over the years, although they have consistently been inside the center console storage area.
The side and back of the console have been used (above right) and now the front comes in to play (below right). In this case, the key fob is placed into the slot with the buttons facing back.
