This text symbol, IMA, stands for Integrated Motor Assist. It is associated with hybrid vehicles. The indicator normally comes on for a few seconds when the ignition is first switched on. There is nothing serviceable by the vehicle’s owner, so if the indicator comes on at any other time, you will need to see your dealer or qualified service center as soon as possible.
