This is an Electric Motor Failure Indicator symbol. The first explanation for this warning light is to alert the driver of a failure in the Electric Propulsion System, but first specifically notes the electric motor. There are additional systems with their own warnings.

It was introduced in 2024 by Dodge in the all electric Charger, and we were surprised that a similar symbol did not already exist in our database. We suspect that other manufacturers have rolled motor issues into system warnings, like the one to the right.

The symbol that appears as perhaps a household battery or even a bottle on its side is very similar or nearly identical to others used as electric vehicle (EV) warnings, generally pointing to issues with the high voltage battery. Click, here,  here or here, respectively left to right, for more.
