Drive modes

This page holds Dodge Drive Mode Indicator symbols. The list of drive modes on our original page grew so large it became apparent that separate manufacturer pages would be appropriate.

Note that if you are surprised to see one of these it is likely a drive mode has been accidently activated via one of the buttons on the steering wheel.

The following have been in use by Dodge in models for many years. As simple text indicators, they are quite self explanatory.

The modes are accessed from a menu controlled on the steering wheel. Two different Track mode variations are found and all are presented in green.

This set of drive modes is offered in the new Charger EV (electric vehicle) and have transitioned to black and white. The Track and Valet mode indicators would also be italicized, but we used pre-existing indicators.

Drive modes are chosen using a button found to the left of the center of the steering wheel. And again as simple text indicators, they are quite self explanatory.

Note that more specialized Snow mode and Eco mode etc. indicators can accessed through the Dodge symbols page here.

The material on these pages is provided for information sharing purposes only and should not be used in lieu of an OEM service manual or factory authorized service procedure. We are not in the auto repair business, nor do we publish automotive service manuals. Nothing we include on these pages and posts has been reviewed, approved or authorized by any vehicle manufacturer.

Remember — only proper service and repair procedures will ensure the safe and reliable operation of your car. In addition, proper safety procedures and precautions, such as the use of safety goggles, the right tools and the equipment should be followed at all times to eliminate the possibility of personal injury or improper service which could damage the vehicle or compromise its safety.

Technology is always changing and what is current and accurate today may be literally out-of-date and inaccurate tomorrow. And when it comes to the current state of flux in the auto industry, nothing is more true.
